It's my ritual to visit local markets whenever I am traveling abroad,and at Paris recently,I spotted these beautiful cepe/porcini mushrooms and I couldn't resist bringing back some,unfortunately they weren't at very good state when I arrived home,so I had to quickly marinate them to keep themlonger. The next day I made this chestnut soup to go with it,one thing about marinated mushroom is,even the oil is full of flavor! Soup dish also bought in Paris' second hand market.
Yes,haven't talk with you for awhile,can't wait chatting about food again! Fresh porcini is extremely expensive and hard to get here,so I had to grab some from France before I leave,I wrapped them with paper and still didn't keep very well,to quickly marinade them was the best way to do,didn't look too good,but still delicious enough!
