Also 金柑の甘露煮，kamquat compote(white wine,vanilla,honey),and kamquat preserved. Many ways to marinade kamquat,Chinese,Japanese,western,a bit of work,but never too complicated. However I could never guess this most simple one from Miffy San is actually most delicious,just sliced,remove seeds and marinated in 和三盆sugar,the kamquat came out having a nice texture,not so soft,no bitterness and the sweetness is nicely balanced by natural tartness of the kamquat.I couldn't stop eating! Hi Miffy San,you recommendation became my favourite now,and so easy to make,I will make this every year from now,thank you so much! I was attracted by your beautiful 金柑の和三盆漬け,I have to try,I love kamquat and it seems very easy to make,和三盆糖sounds very promising too!It came out the most delicious amongst all kamquat marinades,and my colleagues love them too,thanks to you,I learned something good! Not only delicious,kamquat also has medicinal value,good for throat,it has a soothing effect. I thought this is a 伊万里焼 dish,but I guess 有田焼is similar too,I wish I have more knowledge on this...This is a vintage item,I bought it in Kyoto,too expensive,I think I was crazy,but I love beautiful ceramics.
