Fried potato and pork balls

材料・調味料 (5 人分)
Potato
5-6 medium
canned pork meat
1 pack
butter
2 tbsp
egg
3 large
salt
some dash
white pepper
some dash
oil
enough to fry half deep of the potato balls
作り方

firstly,put all the potato in the microwave and set it for 10 minutes

take out the potatoes and peel the skin off

mash the potatoes using a fork or a smasher and put it in a large bowl

mash the canned pork meat ( I use Ma Ling brand here in Indonesia) using fork or smasher and mix it in the bowl with the potatoes

put in all the butter in the bowl

separate all the egg yolks and the whites. put the yolks in the bowl and keep the egg whites out for covering the balls before frying them later

add some dash of salt and pepper in the bowl and mix it all with a spoon

make balls out of the puree

heat the oils in a quite deep frying pan and meanwhile, coat the potato balls in the egg whites and fry it in the heated oil

cook until the colour turns golden brown and take them off the pan, strain the oil by putting them on the oil strainer or by putting them on a tissue on the plate

serve hot :)
ポイント

I just discovered that adding butter improves the taste but the butter is optional ,also there's a creative idea to cut cheddar cheese into small pieces to be put inside the potato balls,it adds more salty flavour. enjoy the recipe :)

This recipe,i first learn it in cooking class at school lol,but made some improvements by adding pork and butter
