Sicilian Goulash

材料・調味料
Pasta
1 box
Ground beef
1 lb
Tomato purée
12oz can
Onion
1 large
Agrodolce
(Optional)
Paprika
1/2 teaspoon
Chili flakes
1/2 teaspoon
Olive oil
1 tbsp
Garlic
1 clove
Salt/pepper
Italian seasoning
1 tbsp
Chopped pistachios
(Optional)
Ground pecorino or Parmesan
作り方

Dice onion and chop garlic and add to large skillet. Lightly caramelize in olive oil and add a few good size splashes of agrodolce if using.

Add ground beef. Season with paprika, salt, pepper, and chili flakes. Srir occasionally until well-browned.

While beef is browning, boil water for pasta.

Add tomato purée to beef and onion mixture. Summer mixture until it thickens a bit.

Cook pasta until al dente. Before draining pasta, add about a cup of pasta cooking water to beef mixture and continue simmering.

Drain pasta and combine with beef mixture.

Toast pistachios in dry skillet if using and sprinkle on top of pasta before serving.

Sprinkle cheese on top as well.
