桜のいなり寿司

みんなの投稿 (13)
Never fond of inari sushi, possibly due to the bad impression of supermarket stuff. But I was convinced that the sakura would make a difference.
とっても素敵✨
わたしちょうど昨日、桜の花の塩漬けを買ったばかり!このアイディア真似しようかな〜❤︎
ごはんにも桜を混ぜてある?

Good afternoon Rizmu!
Thank you,I am happy you like this!
I love the scent of sakura, when I found out it could go with inari sushi,I had to try making it,there were many methods,I chose to simmer sakura in vinegar,it was good!
The back is spring cabbage and wakame soup, weather is still too cool not to have something warm with sushi.I also like sweeter miso soup to take away the sour in miso...I am sure you have great tips on making delicious miso soup!

Thank you Makiko!
It's the first time I made these! There were many way in the internet...steep Sakura in vinegar for a day;or cook rice with Sakura;I didn't have much time so I simmer Sakura in vinegar...The result was good enough,I love Sakura scent in this sushi. Please try it,choose any method you feel it's best!
Sorry Rizmu, the fourth comment 👆🏻was meant to be for you,I accidentally hit Makiko's button...
Yes it did made a difference...made one look forward to those lovely sakuras...tastewise? ...YOU tell me!
Im also not a big fan of inari sushi...never make them the classic way,I prefer them with rice & a bit of something else!😅

Hi Sanntina!
Not only love to look at sakura ,I love food made from it too, usually sweet things, but I found it goes with inari sushi pretty well too.I would never order and buy them, they are usually overly sweet, anyway I gave them a try at home and they turned out unexpectedly good, especially when they are fresh and still warm.I am in love with inari sushi now!

Hi Rick!
Yes, now that you mentioned it ...inari sushi are overly sweet! you should taste inari sushi made in the province (田舎)the inari pockets are so sweet, the sushi rice too !😅
I never buy ready to use inari pockets, I buy 油揚げand make my own inari pockets...that way you can decide on the amount of sweetener you add(I only use みりん& some soy sauce and they're perfect✨)

Hi Sanntina!
I have no idea there are ready made pockets,we are lucky enough to have 油揚げhere(of course not cheap),but I absolutely don't mind making my own,I could control sweetness, and not that complicated too!
Hello Rick!
ready made pockets are available here every where! (department stores, super markets & tofu shops)
I like the pockets from the tofu shops most...not so sweet! my friend's mom-in law always give me some whenever I visit my friend(she NEVER fails to mention that they're NOT very sweet because her tofu shop owner friend made them😅)
油揚げ& ready made pockets are cheap here😊
making your own is the best though...
One more thing...our inari sushi are similar! my family says they are デブ! mine have lots of rice ....just like yours! the japanese made them with a little less rice...i don't know,I dont feel satisfied with less rice so i add a little bit!😅
Where did you get your sakura blessoms?
Here, if you or someone you kniw dont own a tree ,there is no way you can acquire sakura...salted ones are available thoug for a reasonable price:)
*blossoms..knew..my iphone mispells sometimes😅
off to work now...c u!

Actually I got stuck while I was determining how far up I should fill the pocket with,I looked into the internet and I found many filled
Up the the top,so I just followed,I really don't know what's the right way...
Sakura blossoms(salted)are easy to buy now, compared to a few years back,we also have Tomizawa shops, almost as stocked up as the Ines in Japan,I am a fan!
Owning a sakura tree would be best though...😊
