Dough:
Bread flour
500g
Eggs

Warm milk
250ml
Dry yeast
1tsp
Baking powder
1tsp
Butter
50g
Salt
2tsp
Cannola oil
50ml
Sugar
3tbsp
Lemon zest
1tsp
Cheese filling:
Cottage cheese
200g
Flour
1tbsp
Semolina flour
1tbsp
Powder sugar
100g
Vanilla essence
Egg yolks

Dissolve dry yeast with warm milk. In a bigger bowl, mix yeast mixture, eggs, sugar, butter, salt, flour, baking powder, lemon zest and knead. Add cannola oil and knead again until the dough is not sticky anymore.

Let it rest for around 1hour at 37-40degrees. After 1hour, divide the dough into pieces.

Cheese filling: Mix cottage cheese, flour, semolina flour, powder sugar, yolks and vanilla essence.

Take each dough, make it flat by your hands, add 1tbsp of cheese filling on the pieces of dough and take all the cheese side and pull them in a knot.

Bake the pie at 160C for around 1hour.
