Now you say,I think I haven't seen these thicker white asparagus in Japan too.That I don't understand,Japanese farmers are usually better at growing things than other people,may be they are too busy doing other crops.... I hate it in HK we don't have our own produce,but we could almost get everything flied in from overseas,so are these,so I am not sure whether I should be grateful or not.... Spring is here,let's celebrate it with lots of spring food!
