Chirashi Sushi literally means “Scattered Sushi” in Japanese. It is made of sushi rice and topped with many kinds of sashimi, folded omelet/egg crepe and vegetables. Japanese people eat this colorful dish on festive occasions. The toppings of this Chirashi Sushi are grilled eel, amberjack, salmon, shrimps, clams, folded omelette and snow peas. Because toppings were cut into cubes, it looks neat yet gorgeous.
