This is one of an old thai tradition menu heritage from my grand mom. Its quite rarely to find the nice restaurant serving this. The sauce made of shrimp, peanut, red curry paste, palm sugar, deep fried red onion and lime juice. Its taste unique sweet and sour. Serve with stir fried morning glory, g

Sounds so good,makes me want to try,but what happened to all the shrimps?
To: rikk (as asked all methods from my mom.. haha) All ingredients should be cooked separately and blended before mix all together in coconut milk. Then, seasoning with lime juice, tamarind, fish sauce and palm sugar.
To: rikk The spicy flavor comes from dried chili stir fried in oil mix with fresh chili (so it wont be too spicy) then, soak them to soften in water. Put it as the last step with chopped coriander. Please try, if more details needed feel free to let me know ;)
Thank you so much for taking time and writing the recipe,I really appreciate this!Actually I think this is quite similar to massaman curry but without the turmeric.I rarely make a thai curry paste from scratch,but I will definitely try this!
