Steam chick with Brand Chicken of essence (energy boost - for exam days) 😅

材料・調味料
Whole chicken Kampung

Yu Zhu 玉竹 (Solomon's Seal Rhizome),

Sea salt
pinch
Hong Zao 红枣 (Red Dates)

Gou Qi Zi 枸杞子 (Wolfberries)

Chicken Essence

Clean the chicken with sea salt, rubbed n rinse with water

Spread n rub the salt into the chicken leave it and keep in the fridge for few hours

Rinse the chicken with water n dry it if you like taste of salt you can skip this method, I prefer the taste of the herb n Essence chicken without salt 😁

Put the chick into a deep dish, add all the Chinese herbs and pour the Essence cover with aluminium foil and leave in the room temperature about 30 minutes

Steam for 2-3h

Remove foil and bast chicken with the sauce. Drizzle with some sesame oil and serve while it hot...
