Rose steam buns

材料・調味料 (9 人分)
Bread flour
2 1/3 cup
Warm water
1 cup
Yeast
1 tsp
Sugar
4 tbsp
Food colouring

In a large bowl- add 1 tsp of yeast, 4 tbsp of sugar and 1 cup of warm water. Stir until dissolve.

Add 6-7 drops of food coloring if you want a darker shade, for a lighter shade, add 2-3 drops

Add half of the flour in the bowl and mix it well. Then add the rest of the flour in.
Give it a good knead and let it rest in the room temperature for half an hour.

After letting the dough rest give it another good knead. Cut it into small pieces. 4-5 pieces of the dough will make a set of roses. To make the core of the rose, get a piece of dough half the size of the petal pieces and roll it into a cylinder. Cut it into half and spread the top to give it the rose look.

Place the roses in the steamer and steam it for about 14 minutes.

Wait 3-5 minutes after turning off the heat to take out the buns.
