Chocolate cake

vanilla extract

ground almonds

whip cream

m&m candies
a handful

Preheat oven 180°C/350°F

In a mixing bowl cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Will take about 15-20 mins

Add the egg one at a time and mix well between each addition.

Sift flour and cocoa powder. Add the ground almonds to the flour .

Add the flour mixture to the batter and mix well. Add in the melted chocolate and vanilla extract to the cake batter and mix well.

Pour in a greased pan and bake for 40-45 minutes.( you can also do the toothpick test to check when it's done)

Leave to cool.

Place the chocolate in a bowl. Heat the cream and pour over the chocolate. Mix well and set aside.

Cut the cake in half and spread the chocolate. Cover with the other half and frost the cake with the remaining chocolate. Decorate with the candies

Serve with a big scoop of ice cream! 😋😋
ポイント

i used 2 different kinds of chocolate for the filling and frosting. Any kind of chocolates will do so don't hesitate!
