Jillians trottole and sausage soup

材料・調味料 (10 人分)
Home made chicken stock
6 cups
sliced carrots
1 cup
celery hearts
1/2 cup
large onion
1/2
Fresh garlic sliced
5 pieces
Italian sausage
1 package
frozen chopped spinach
1/2 bag
cream of mushroom soup
1 can
milk
1/3 cup
salt & pepper
to taste
garlic powder
to taste
onion powder
to taste
poultry seasoning
to taste
Italian seasoning
to taste
Can crushed tomatoes
12 oz.
trottole pasta
16 oz. bag
Italian cheese blend for topping
butter
1/4 cup
crushed red pepper flakes
作り方

saute' onion, garlic, celery and carrots in large stock pot with 1/4 cup salted butter. add salt and pepper.

add Italian sausage and cook until browned

add chicken stock and bring to boil

.add crushed tomatoes. boil on medium heat until sausage is cooked through.

Open can of cream of mushroom soup and empty into separate bowl. using a ladel, add some of the soup broth and whisk until smooth. add milk to the mixture. Poor into the soup.

stir in spinach and continue to cook on medium heat

add garlic powder, onion powder, poultry seasoning, Italian seasoning, pepper flakes, and salt and pepper to taste. lower heat to low and let simmer for 30 minutes.

add your pasta to the pot and bring to a boil.

When the pasta is tender, serve in a bowl with shredded Italian cheese on top.

hopefully i didnt forget anything!!! im pretty sure i remember this correctly! I hope you enjoy this as much as my husband and I did! I made this up on a whim and we thought it turned out great! Let me know what you think! :-)
