Hi 部長 San,it's been so long since I hear from you,how have you been?I hope everything is fine! This one comes at the right time!Very tropical mood indeed, one of the best mango dessert around, everyone is in love with this here.I made it hopefully more of my Japanese friends know about it!You did an excellent job, nice consistency and colour contrast! You got pomelo?I thought it might be difficult in Japan...About the sago,it's important to get the cooking time right, yours looks perfect here! It's actually a relatively modern Cantonese dessert, really clever combination from the chef who created this! I hope you like it,so there will be another option other than mango pudding!
I see,部長San,seems like you have been busy,I hope you are enjoying too,I am just glad you come back and show us your delicious food! Please also take time off and relax! Everything is fine for me,always hungry for food, thank you for the kindness! That's right,楊枝甘露 is a much loved dessert in HK,I wish more people know because it's quite easy to make at home. But it's funny that no ingredient of this is produced in HK.Mangoes are from Philippines,it the most fragrant kind, not expensive at all.Sago and pomelo are from Thailand, pomelo has clean sweetness, and a slight bitterness, but I think red grapefruit is a good substitute if you couldn't find pomelo. Also,I know there is 晚白柚 in Japan,I haven't tried yet,but they look similar, may work ok too, only a little expensive... Yes sure, you got it,if you like Asian sweet,it's not my strongest area, but I will try and make some here, with or without mango! See you soon again, thank you again!
